Inspired by the amazing photos of Jenny Sturgis (representing Rik Allen’s Glass Sculptures), “A.L.P.H.A.” is an exploration of the struggle between Humanity and Nature, as well as the challenge between Art vs. Science. Mankind is well known for screwing things up when it only listens to its exuberant passions. We kill. We destroy. We refuse to share our differences with dignity. Decades after decades we have created structures and have erected principles that have affected the Earth like no other species. Many technologies have helped us tame some of our primal fears while at the same time influence dearly our darkest forces. We, as artists, believe music is the only art form that could help us share our life experience on a common ground not raped yet by some economical/egoistical interests.
